From the F1 Friends Cup Organization we have decided to make a series of changes in the competition to make it more accessible to all teams and drivers. At the time of publishing this statement we have seven teams signed up, an insufficient number to carry out the competition as it was designed, therefore, from the organization we are going to introduce a number of changes in order to try to move forward the competition:
(1) The PreQ suffers some variations, the teams registered before the closing of entries have a fixed place in the competition, therefore, the PreQ will be voluntary for those teams that want to get a place for the choice of car. Teams that do not wish to attend the PR will be assigned a car by means of a draw among those that are free. As far as the conditions of the PreQ are concerned, everything remains the same.
(2) The rule of a limited number of participations per driver is removed, if SCNEF1 Season 18 finally takes place there will be no limitation for drivers.
(3) There will be two transfer windows, the first one will take place between race 2 and 3, the second one between race 4 and 5. The only limit in the transfer windows will be that teams cannot exceed 12 drivers in their roster, no matter the number of transfers they make. Emergency signings will be maintained and will be subject to the same conditions.
(4) Registrations will be maintained with these new conditions until Monday, 12 February at 21:00 hours, if after this deadline the competition has not received the necessary number of teams to compete it will be cancelled.
